Still in fashion or plain UGGly?

Are UGG boots still in fashion? Now that winter is drawing in I am seeing lots of people wearing Sheepskin boots including UGG and their cheaper friends. None of the primark or New look versions are even comparable to a real sheepskin boot. Having tried on a friends UGGs they really are like stepping onto a little fluffy cloud. I have owned a couple of the nasty fake boots, with foam soles that murder your feet and let in the elements. Real UGGs are definitely worth investing in, they will last for years if you look after them well.

There are many UGG haters out their however, one columnist has referred to them as “those Aussie clodhoppers that are capable of turning any woman under 5ft 10in into an Oompa-Loompa and the shapeliest pins into the back end of a pantomime horse”

I personally don’t see the harm in wanting to keep your feet warm in winter, although Men in them is taking metrosexual a little too far..
